HOW I LOST WEIGHT...

WHEN I FIRST SET OUT TO LOSE WEIGHT I DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT I HAD A WEIGHT PROBLEM THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED. IN OTHER WORDS I WAS COMFORTABLE AND WHEN I SAY COMFORTABLE I MEAN IT. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T WANNA LOSE WEIGHT FOR OTHER PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO WANNA DO IT FOR YOURSELF. JUST KNOW FIRST OF ALL WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL IN OUR OWN WAY AND BEAUTY IS NOT ON THE OUTSIDE BELIEVE ME IT'S THE PERSON YOU ARE INSIDE THAT MAKES YOU TRULY BEAUTIFUL. AND MEN LOVE A CONFIDENT WOMAN SO NO MATTER WHAT SIZE YOU ARE OWN IT. I HAD ONE OF THE BEST MEN EVER COME INTO MY LIFE WHEN I WAS BIGGER NOW EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY LIKE ME THEY DON'T IT'S JUST SEXUAL SO BELIEVE ME YOU CAN ENVY KIM KARDASHIAN BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT THOSE KIND OF WOMAN ENVY YOU. MY NEPHEW WAS MURDERED APRIL 10, 2010 HE WAS 5 YEARS OLD AND IT KILLED ME I FELL  INTO A DEEP DEPRESSION AND I WOUDLN'T GET OUT OF BED FOR THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS UNTIL A FRIEND CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO GET UP AND IF I WANTED TO FEEL BETTER TO DO SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE LIKE A MEMORIAL FOR MY NEPHEW. I DIDN'T DO MODELING OR MUSIC ANYMORE BUT I WANTED TO WRITE A SONG FOR MY NEPHEW NEEDLESS TO SAY I TALK ABOUT HIM IN MY MUSIC BUT STILL CAN'T FIND THE WORDS TO MAKE A SONG. BUT LONG STORY SHORT I GOT IT IN MY MIND THAT IF I STARTED DOING MUSIC AGAIN HIS SOUL WOULD LIVE THREW ME AND I WILL ALWAYS BLESS HIS NAME AND THREW ME HIS NAME WILL BE IN LIGHTS. BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE I DIDN'T HAVE THAT BODY THAT I HAD BEFORE WHEN I TOURED WITH LOWRIDER MAGAZINE. I WAS WAY OVER 200 POUNDS. I FELT LIKE TO COME BACK I HAD TO BE THE SAME OR BETTER.  SO FIRST OFF I STARTED TO GROW MY HAIR OUT AND BUILD MY CONFIDENCE I MADE A BRAINSTORM PAPER I WROTE DOWN SMALL EASY GOALS THAT WOULD HELP ME BUILD MY SELF ESTEEM YOU DON'T WANNA GET UP AND SAY I'M GONNA LOSE 200 POUNDS FUCK THAT WHO THE HELL WANTS TO DO THAT I MEAN THAT IS THE LONG TERM GOAL BUT YOU KNOW HOW LONG THAT COULD TAKE IT COULD TAKE YEARS AND LESS THEN HALF WAY THREW THAT YOU WILL GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU LOSE YOUR SELF ESTEEM. SO SET SMALL SHORT TERM GOALS FOR ME IT WAS GROW MY HAIR WHICH WAS FOR ME VERY HARD I AM ADDICTED TO SHORT HAIR MY HAIR HAS BEEN SHORT FOR 20 YEARS BUT SINCE I GAINED WEIGHT MY FACE WAS A BIT FATTER AND THE SHORT HAIR JUST WASN'T AS SEXY. MY HAIR WAS GROWING AND I STARTED TO FEEL SEXY AGAIN. THEN AFTER A YEAR OF GROWING MY HAIR OUT I STARTED TO WALK AND JUST TRY TO WORKOUT BUT AH YEA WHO THE HELL WANTS TO DO THAT HAHAHAHA. SO THAT WENT BACK  AND FORTH BUT AT SOME POINT IT BECAME A HABIT WHICH THEN BECAME A LIFE CHANGE I WANTED TO DO MORE I WANTED TO WALK MORE AND IT FELT GOOD I NOTICED THAT AT FIRST MY BODY DIDN'T LIKE IT AND THAT'S OK BUT THE MORE YOU DO IT I STARTED TO NOTICE MY BODY FEELING GOOD I WAS HAPPIER. WHEN YOU WORK OUT YOUR BRAIN PRODUCES CHEMICALS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE MORE ENERGY AND HAPPIER. I STARTED TO SEE A LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN MY SIZE AND YOU ALREADY KNOW YOU COULDN'T TELL ME NOTHING HAHAHA. BUT I WAS STILL DOIN THE SAME WALKING AND MORE WALKING. MY WEIGHT GOT STUCK I WENT DOWN A SIZE AND THEN STAYED THERE. I GOT A PERSONAL TRAINER WHO THEN TAUGHT ME THAT WALKING DOESN'T DO MUCH AFTER SO LONG BECAUSE YOU WALK EVERY DAY AND TO LOSE WEIGHT YOU NEED TO SHOCK YOUR BODY. BY SHOCK I MEAN DO THINGS YOU DON'T NORMALLY DO HE HAD ME LIFT TIRES AND RUN UP AND DOWN STAIRS, THE SLEDGE HAMMER ON THE TIRE, YOU CAN DO ALOT OF THESE THINGS WITHOUT  A GYM I WENT OUTSIDE AND WOULD DO YARD WORK FOR MY MOM LIKE DIG A WHOLE AND SHOVEL DIRT SOUNDS FUNNY BUT IT WORKS. AND AFTER SO LONG OF DOING JUST NATURAL AROUND THE HOUSE AND OUTSIDE WORK. YOU'LL SEE ANOTHER CHANGE MAYBE A LITTLE WEIGHT LOSS BUT MORE SO STRENGTH AND STAMINA. THE HARDEST TIME CAME WHEN I WAS WORKING OUT WITH MY PERSONAL TRAINER EVERYDAY AND WASN'T SEEING THE RESULTS I WANTED I SAW A DIFFERENCE BUT NOT ONE THAT MADE ME FEEL GOOD WHEN I SAT DOWN AND LOOKED IN THE MIRROR I HAD ALL THESE ROLLS STILL BUT I LEARNED THE HARD LESSON THAT LOSING WEIGHT IS 80% DIET AND 20% EXERCISE AND BECAUSE I WAS WORKING OUT I THOUGHT I COULD STILL EAT PIZZA AND WHATEVER I WANTED BECAUSE I WOULD JUST WORK IT OFF. SO BELIEVE IT OR NOT THAT'S WHEN THE FUN STARTED BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T DIET ALONE USE A CALORIE COUNTER BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T GET THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF CALORIES YOUR BODY WILL GO INTO STARVASION MODE AND YOUR WEIGHT WILL ONCE AGAIN COME TO A STAND STILL THE KEY IS NOT TO STARVE YOURSELF. YOU HAVE TO SNACK JUST EAT CLEAN FOODS. WATCHING YOUR CALORIE INTAKE WILL MAKE YOU MORE CAUTIOUS OF WHAT YOUR PUTTING INTO YOUR BODY AND MAKE IT EASIER ON YOU. DID YOU KNOW THAT I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE 1200 CALORIES A DAY I WENT TO OLIVE GARDEN ONE DAY AND ORDERED THE SHRIMP ALFREDO AFTERWARDS I ASKED HOW MANY CALORIES IT WAS AND THAT PLATE ALONE WAS 1200 CALORIES I WAS LIKE DAMMMMM. AND WHEN YOU USE THAT CALORIE COUNTER YOU'LL SEE JUST HOW MUCH YOU CAN EAT TO TOTAL 1200 CALORIES THE RIGHT WAY THAT'S WHAT WILL SHOCK YOU IT'S ALOT. STAY AWAY  FROM THINGS THAT ARE MADE WITH FLOUR LIKE TORTILLAS, BREAD, CAKE, POTATOES, ETC, YOU DON'T WANT ANY STARCHY ITEMS YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE BROWN RICE AND WHEAT NO MORE WHITE. I PERSONALLY EAT TURKEY MEAT NOW I DON'T EAT RED MEAT OR PORK ONLY ON CHEAT DAYS. IT'S GOOD TO ALLOW YOURSELF A CHEAT DAY TO ENJOY FOODS YOU DON'T HAVE TO ALWAYS TURN IT  AWAY JUST REMEMBER TO BE DISCIPLINED IT'S A REWARD. BUT I WILL SAY THIS IT'S EASIER SAID THEN DONE SO GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO GROW. IT'S A LIFESTYLE CHANGE AND IT DOESN'T CHANGE OVER NIGHT. LIKE I SAID SMALL GOALS START BY DOING PORTION CONTROL EAT LESS IF YOU GET MC DONALDS EAT HALF THE BURGER AND HALF THE FRIES DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE INSTEAD OF SODA. DON'T  KILL YOURSELF TRYING TO EAT HEALTHY IT'S HARD ON YOUR BODY AT FIRST BUT EVENTUALLY THINGS CHANGE TO YOU. JUST PUSH MORE TOWARDS HEALTHIER FOODS AND STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOODS BUT LIKE MY TRAINER SAID IF YOU JUST HAVE TO EAT AND YOUR RIPPING AND RUNNING IT'S BETTER TO EAT SOMETHING UNHEALTHY CAUSE YOU CAN BURN IT OFF THEN TO STAVE YOURSELF BUT AGAIN BE DISCIPLINED AND YOU MUST DRINK LOTS OF WATER STAY AWAY FROM SALT I STOPPED EATING SALT FIRST AND STARTED DRINKING A GALLON OF WATER A DAY I LOST 20 POUNDS JUST FROM THAT YOU'LL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH OF YOUR FACIAL FAT IS WATER RETENTION. WHAT I DO THAT REALLY WORKS FOR ME IS I EAT LIKE A KING FOR BREAKFAST, EAT LIKE A QUEEN FOR LUCH, AND EAT LIKE A PESANT FOR DINNER..... WHEN THEY SAY BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY THEY ARE NOT LIEING BECAUSE IT BOOST YOUR METABOLISM WHICH HELPS YOUR BODY BURN CALORIES EAT GOOD FOR BREAKFAST BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE THE WHOLE DAY TO BURN THAT OFF. THEN HAVE A SNACK IN BETWEEN BEFORE LUNCH, FOR LUNCH EAT OKAY BUT NOT LARGE, EAT A SNACK IN BETWEEN, THEN FOR DINNER SINCE IT'S SO CLOSE TO YOU LAYING DOWN EAT LIGHT. IT IS A CALORIE COUNTER AND WILL BECOME YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND AND JUST BE HONEST ON IT IF I EAT FAST FOOD I  PUT IT ON THERE BECOMING MORE AWARE OF WHAT YOUR TAKING IN MAKES YOU NOT REALLY WANNA EAT IT AFTER SO LONG BUT IT HELPS YOU TOO. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU HAVE REALLY HARD CRAVINGS DON'T STRESS YOURSELF IF YOU ARE GOING CRAZY FOR A DOUGHNUT AND YOU CAN'T SHAKE IT BUY ONE BUT INSTEAD OF EATING THE WHOLE THING TAKE A BITE OR TWO EVENTUALLY YOU'LL LEARN TO IGNORE IT BUT IT ISN'T EASY SO BE GOOD TO YOURSELF HELP YOURSELF DON'T BECOME YOUR WORST ENEMY. DON'T BE HARD ON YOURSELF BEST THING I EVER READ........ HOW DO EXPECT TO LOSE WEIGHT IN A WEEK WHEN IT DIDN'T TAKE YOU A WEEK TO GAIN IT!!!!!!! REMEMBER SMALL GOALS BE HAPPY ABOUT SMALL GOALS. WHEN YOUR READY TO REALLY GET SERIOUS YOU'LL KNOW AND IT WILL NOT BE HARD I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR 3 YEARS BUT ONLY 1 YEAR SERIOUS IN A YEAR I LOST 90 POUNDS I HAVE 21 MORE POUNDS TO GO AND I WILL BE THE WEIGHT I WAS BEFORE. I EAT HEALTHY I WORK OUT AND I AM ONLY HUMAN EVERYDAY IS NOT EASY ESPECIALLY WHEN EVERYONE AROUND YOU ISN'T ON A DIET :( MY KIDS TRY TO OFFER ME DOUGHNUTS AND I SCREAM OUT THAT'S THE DEVIL HAHAHA BUT EVENTUALLY PEOPLE WILL SEE YOUR REALLY SERIOUS AND THEY WILL ALREADY KNOW YOU DON'T WANT IT. WHEN I FIRST STARTED  A YEAR AGO I COULDN'T DO 1 PUSH UP NOW I'M DOING 100 AND I JUST STARTED RUNNING YOUR TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER RAN HAHAHA IT FEELS SO GOOD I CAN RACE MY SON NOW AND ENJOY LIFE BUT IT TOOK TIME TO GET HERE AND YOU'LL GET TO WHERE YOU WANNA BE TOO.  I LOVE YOU GUYS AND I HOPE THIS HELPS YA'LL KISSES AND HUGS AND A WHOLE LOTTA LOVE FROM CAINE
